Santa Rosa Consolidated Schools
Vision Statement

The Santa Rosa Consolidated School District staff have taken on three key ideas to help us accomplish our mission.

First, our staff is COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE (C2E), while our students will STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE (S4E)!

We are a learning community that strives to answer the question, "How can we better support our students in their academic quest for EXCELLENCE, gaining personal responsibility and have respect for themselves and others?"  Our SRCS Family is committed to excellence while fostering an environment where students can strive for excellence!

POUND THE ROCK is the second concept taken from Jacob Riis, a man touted by Theodore Roosevelt as "the most useful citizen of New York." Riis wrote...

“When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.”

Here in Santa Rosa Consolidated School District, we know we are helping to shape the citizens of tomorrow.  WE may not see the benefit of every action taken today, but trust that over time, doing what is right will pay huge dividends.

Thirdly, Our SRCS Family will have an “Abundance Mentality” as WE address our daily duties. WE will promote the belief that there is plenty of knowledge, wisdom, and success for everyone. WE believe that there is ample room in an organization for everyone to be successful. True leaders are not threatened by someone else’s success. WE will support and celebrate the successes of our fellow colleagues and students with them. Our SRCS Family prides itself in using the collective wisdom of the entire school family to find positive solutions to difficult issues.
